Created in 2001, the Geneva Brass Quintet is a dynamic unit of chamber music made up of swiss musicians issued of the Geneva Music Conservatory, all lauréate of a Virtuosity 1st prize. Having in common the same passion for chamber music and willing, together, to forward that enthousiasm to the public, the decided to put themselves together into this quintet.

Having in common the same passion for chamber music and willing, together, to forward that enthousiasm to the public, the decided to put themselves together into this quintet.
The GBQ perform since 2003 and gained through the years a national recognition.
They already performed in numerous and various occasions, such as for private functions, festivals or series. We mention for exemple the Sion festival, l’Institut National Genevois or the Geneva Music Festival.they performed as well abroad, for example in South Africa in 2008 were the performed with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra (Durban). They will go to China in 2011. GBQ plays as well with various emsembles as for instance wind bands: the “Harmonie Nautique” at the Victoria hall (Geneva) in 2009.
Enthusiastic and ambitious, this quintet has various projects in progress, such as international concerts, contests, recordings and tours.
