What is it that brings 3 urbanites to play an instrument which could not possibly be more swisslike traditional and native? Why do young people band together to play a whole different style than they ever have within their musical subsistence? Maybe it is precisely this what, in 2002, made us striking a musical path which had to be traditional and Swiss. This attitude also reflects in the musical literature to which we have dedicated ourselves. Native sounds they need be. Native triads, to be more precise, or “drüükläng”, as locals would call them. It is our goal to make the alphorn sound with traditional tunes in a sound reproduction as proper-to-style as possible.
